Day 1 (Fish River Canyon )

Depart Windhoek and fly in a south-westerly direction along the edge of the Kalahari Desert to the spectacular Nama Karoo. Your lodge for the night is set directly on the rim of the Fish River Canyon, the second largest of its kind on earth, offering you spectacular views of the Canyon and the spectacular Namibian sunsets.

Day 1 (Fish River Canyon )

Day 2 & Day 3 (Fish River Canyon - Sossusvlei)

Fish River Canyon - Sossusvlei

Enjoy a beautiful view of the Fish River Canyon at breakfast, a 550-metre deep chasm estimated to be over 500 million years old. After a nature drive on the property, we fly west towards the coastal Namib Desert and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the canyon. The Namib is the oldest desert on earth and its shapes are best admired from the air.

On day two, an open vehicle excursion takes you to Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei to admire this unusual landscape.

Day 2 & Day 3 (Fish River Canyon - Sossusvlei)

Leaving the majestic dune landscape behind, you will travel over towering mountain ranges, rugged canyons and endless desert plains to Swakopmund. Once you have arrived in this idyllic coastal town, you have some leisure time at your disposal to spend exploring as you see fit. Dinner can be enjoyed in one of the excellent seafood restaurants this coastal town has to offer.

Day 4 (Sossusvlei - Swakopmund)

Day 5 (Swakopmund - Damaraland)

Swakopmund - Damaraland

Travel onwards to Walvis Bay to enjoy a marine cruise. Keep an eye out for fur seals and flamingos whilst enjoying some sparkling wine and oysters on-board. You may even see dolphins, leather backed turtles or even a seasonal whale!

The journey continues into the Damaraland, an area marked by steep mountain massifs that tower over meandering riverbeds.

Day 5 (Swakopmund - Damaraland)

Today you will visit one of the most spectacular outdoor art exhibitions in the world at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein. This incredible geological attraction is the largest rock art engraving site on earth. After exploring the area and viewing the ancient rock art, you will board a small plane for a short flight to the next lodge, situated at the entrance to Etosha National Park.

Etosha National Park

In the early morning, travel by open vehicle into Etosha National Park, one of the most diverse game reserves in Africa. During the hame drive, you may encounter as many as four of the Big Five animals as well as rare and endangered animals such as cheetah, sable and the Damara dik-dik. After a busy day of game viewing, head back to your lodge in time for dinner.
