However, don't just stick to the beach or the resort poolside, head out into the populated areas to catch a glimpse of local life on the island, book a guided tour through one of the stunning vegetated areas or plan an epic hike on one of the many trails. The Copolia Trail in the Victoria area of Seychelles is a popular choice or sign up for a days hike to Ella Rock, 1,000 metres above sea level with stunning views once you reach the top.
