Alila Jabal Akhdar is 2,000m above the sea sitting in the middle of the mountain range of Al Hajar, in the interior region of Al Dakhiliyah known as Oman’s cultural heart. Perched 2,000 metres above the sea, Alila Jabal Akhdar overlooks the gorge on the Al Hajar mountains. This boutique hotel offers luxury suites and villas beautifully furnished with terraces or balconies with spectacular views. Designed with the environment in mind, the resort has been built using local sourced stone in order to blend in with the spectacular natural surroundings with fort-like doors of solid wood. Cooling off from the Omani heated is easy with two swimming pools –an outdoor infinity pool and indoor plunge pool. You can also look forward to twice weekly morning yoga classes, evening meditation and an international menu inspired by Arabic cuisine at the Juniper Restaurant.
